Composed early 1990’s after hearing the hypnotic vamps of South African jazz pianist Abdullah Ibrahim (aka Dollar Brand).
Incomplete lyrics inspired by my long daily commute, imagining a long-haul trucker (touring musician?) coming back to family after weeks on the road.
